Enablement by department
Training on your own systems, based on the tasks your team handles every day.
That is why what is learned can be applied on the next working day.
datadice Academy
The datadice Academy trains teams on their daily tasks and on the systems they work with. Users learn to work safely with AI, subject-matter owners learn to maintain rules and content, technical leads learn their tasks in operations.
Since February 2025, Art. 4 of the AI Act requires companies to ensure sufficient AI literacy among their staff. Thomas Knorr also teaches in the IHK course “AI Innovation Manager” and in the certificate course “AI Solution Architect” at Coburg University of Applied Sciences.

Your team works with AI on its own
Funding:Bavarian companies receive a 50% ESF+ grant for training with at least 20 teaching units and five participants. Together with an implemented solution, training also counts in the Digitalbonus.
View funding programmesTypical starting point
You are developing your system landscape further and opening up new possibilities for your company through data, automation and AI. This also changes tasks, requirements and decision paths. Your employees want to understand this development and make their own contribution.
Our answer
The datadice Academy supports your digital transformation with practical training and further education. We connect an understanding of data and AI with your employees' tasks and the use of your systems. This way, your teams can use digital tools confidently, actively help shape change and continue to develop in a digital working world.
We are convinced: new technologies only deliver value through the people who work with them. Their experience, judgement and ability to learn drive the company's development. That is why technical change with us also strengthens employees' skills and career prospects.
Mandatory since 2025
Since 2 February 2025, Art. 4 of the AI Act obliges companies that use AI systems to take measures so that their staff have sufficient AI literacy. The datadice Academy offers training per role for this.
How extensive the training must be depends on the use case. Someone drafting texts with an approved chat tool needs something different from a subject-matter owner who maintains the rules of an automated invoice check.
The Academy therefore starts with the roles. Together with you, we define which content each role needs. Whether your specific use triggers further obligations is something you check with your data protection officer or legal counsel. The Academy defines the form of the certificate of participation per format.
For your department
At first, work is added, above all for reviewing results, maintaining rules and learning new workflows. datadice makes this effort visible before the rollout and trains your team for exactly that.
Relief and new review work often come at the same time. Anyone who adopts an AI answer must be able to assess it. Anyone who looks after an automation must know when it handles exceptions incorrectly.
That is why your team practises on real cases from its own daily work, such as a customer enquiry about delivery times that is answered with a source and then reviewed. Your department sees in advance which role needs which training.
Architecture
Available as a single workshop or as an accompanying learning programme, each with preparation and transfer into practice.
Step 1 of 4
Together with you, we determine the skills your teams need for the planned changes. Learning goals and exercises are based on roles, tasks and the systems in use.
Roles and tasks
Role: User in sales support
Task: Answer customer enquiries
Learning goal: Check answers against their source
Outcome
You receive tailored training and further education for your departments, with agreed learning goals, scope and group of participants. Depending on your needs, the formats cover digital fundamentals, applying AI, assessing results on their merits, and maintaining and developing your solutions further. Support for knowledge transfer can help with the handover of new tasks and responsibilities.

AI coaching for managing directors
The coaching is for you alone. We accompany you personally and review your own workflows. With AI we make them more efficient.

Together we identify where AI takes work off your hands. We also clarify where it does not.

Certificate courses
Alongside training inside companies, datadice teaches in two certificate courses: at the IHK zu Coburg (Chamber of Commerce and Industry) and at Coburg University of Applied Sciences. The courses are independent, each with its own audience, structure and certificate.
The course is aimed at specialists and managers who introduce AI in their own company. Participants learn to lead AI: describe tasks, delegate them to agents and check the results. They finish with their own solution for a task from their working day.
Our part: Thomas Knorr designs the course together with Prof. Dr. Thomas Wieland. He teaches the units on agents, context, interfaces and automation, plus a hands-on day where participants build their project with Claude Code or Codex.
The course is aimed at experienced technical professionals who want to use AI professionally in their own field and need in-depth knowledge to do so. The focus is architecture: choosing and running models, opening up company data with permissions, measuring quality and connecting agents safely.
Our part: Thomas Knorr teaches together with Prof. Dr. Thomas Wieland. He covers the units on local AI, enterprise data, evaluation and agents, plus a full-day workshop in which participants build their own small knowledge system.

An objection we often hear
„Our employees have already attended AI training.“
Training on your own systems, based on the tasks your team handles every day. Open seminars are available on data models, BigQuery and AI in your own operations.
Learning goals, target group and format determine scope, price and duration. Available as a single workshop or as an accompanying learning programme, each with preparation and transfer into practice.
The formats are led by named specialists from our projects.
Yes. For every solution, we support introduction, enablement and operation to the agreed extent.
We define the form of the certificate of attendance for each format.
